RESOLUTION -THE MEMBERS OF THE MICHIGAN 14th CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE SUPPORT INCREASING THE NUMBER OF PRECINCT DELEGATES

Whereas, those who expend the effort to run for Precinct Delegate are showing dedication to the Party's principles and platform and are the life blood of the Republican Party;

Whereas, active Precinct Delegates are unpaid volunteers working for the election of the Republican Party's candidates;

Whereas, in view of Oakland County's large growth in population over the last few years;

Whereas, Precinct Delegates are the front-line foot soldiers upon whom the Party depends to get the Party's message out to the base; now, therefore be it

Resolved:

1. That the Oakland County Republican Party (OCRP) leadership must not reduce the number of Precinct Delegates as it had done prior to the last election;
2. That OCRP shall increase the number of Precinct Delegates to at least the level of2014;
3. That good leadership promotes, cultivates and perpetuates the voice of the people.
