Accomplishments

The new 11th District was formed as a result of the 2020 U.S. Census.  The District consists largely of communities that made up the former 11th Congressional District and the former 14th Congressional District.  Each of those districts had a long history of accomplishments to advance conservative political issues.

The new 11th District elected its first leadership team in February 2023 and its early accomplishments include:

  • Converted and combined the two previous district’s websites, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram and related email lists into unified tools
  • Created a new Instagram account
  • Approved new District by-laws
  • Conducted Executive Committee surveys to help form the direction through 2027

In time, the new 11th District will create its own significant list of accomplishments. In the District's first two year cycle, that ended in February 2025, these were completed:

  • In 2024, District 11 donated $33,050 directly to various candidates and also invested $2,800 on electronic billboards for various candidates,
  • These investments helped to bring Oakland County from 35% Republican to 45% Republican.  And we helped add one County Commission seat (Rob Smiley) and held all of our House seats, which helped flip control the House.
  • Two year total revenue is over $57,000.  Revenues for 2023 totaled about $24,800.  Revenues for 2024 totaled about $32,000, of which about about $4,300 was voluntary dues.
  • Hosted significant fund raisers including a "Candidate Shoot Out", two Christmas-Hannukah Celebrations, and two summer Pig Roasts held at a provate park on Cass Lake.
  • Held regular monthly meetings with important guest speakers including:
    • Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard
    • Representative Steve Carra
    • RNC National committeeman Dr. Rob Steele
    • Nathan Pawl, founder of Great Schools Initiative
