Oestreich Wins 11th District Republican Chair Election
Farmington Hills Activist Wins Additional Leadership Role
Detroit, MI [Immediate Release]: Debra Oestreich (Farmington Hills, MI) was elected Chair of the 11th District Congressional District Republican Committee at the Michigan Republican Party State Convention held in Detroit, MI.
Oestreich succeeds Bill Rauwerdink who did not seek re-election.
“As an activist, I know that winning elections starts with motivated voters. My goals for the 11th District include helping to make the ‘mighty 11th District’ red again,” said Oestreich. “To do that will require conservatives across the District to work together to win Oakland County, Michigan and federal elections. Our entire newly elected District leadership team is ready for that challenge.”
As Chair, Oestreich will lead the twenty-five-member Congressional District Executive Committee and will serve on the Michigan Republican Party State Committee. All Executive Committee members are listed here.
Oestreich most recently served as Co-Chair of the 11th District. She also serves on the Oakland County Republican Party’s Executive Committee and its budget committee. Oestreich recently graduated from the Campaign Leadership College (CLC) which is the most intensive and thorough program offered by the Leadership Institute. She is a longtime resident of Farmington Hills, MI.
