Corcoran Primary Win Puts Him on November 2017 Ballot


Grosse Pointe Woods, MI [Immediate Release]:  Marc Corcoran, Grosse Pointe Woods, will be on the November 7, 2017 special election ballot running to represent Michigan House District #1.


“First, I want to thank all who voted in the recent primary and gave an opportunity to a ‘common man’ to be elected to the Michigan House, said Corcoran. “Michigan House District #1 has been poorly represented in recent years.  If elected on November 7 all I can promise is one thing.  I will do my best to help all of us have a better life right here in Michigan.”


District #1 became an open seat when Brian Banks resigned his position last February.  Learn more here

This will be Corcoran’s first attempt at elected office, other than precinct delegate, in the 14th Congressional District.   He owns a construction company.  District #1 includes voters from Harper Woods and Grosse Pointe Woods, and from portions of Detroit and Grosse Pointe Shores.  Contact Corcoran at [need something or will use email if that is it]
